About Us
1 Timothy 3:14-15 | “Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”
Who We Are
Grace Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). As Lutherans, we are rooted in the teachings of Martin Luther, a 16th-century reformer who emphasized that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—not by our own works, but as a gift from God. This central truth shapes everything we believe, teach, and practice.
We believe in the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are forgiven for our sins and promised eternal life. Our faith and life are grounded in the Holy Scriptures, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the center of all we do.
God’s grace is not just something we read about—it is something we experience. As Lutherans, we believe Christ is truly present in the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. Through these gifts, God forgives sins, strengthens faith, and draws us into deeper relationship with Him and with one another.
We believe that all who trust in Christ and are baptized are children of God—welcomed, loved, and called to live out their faith in daily life.
We care about people—and that includes you.
We warmly invite you to worship with us this Sunday.
You are always welcome at Grace—“The Welcome Place.”
